These are just some volunteer organizations that I have found that create handmade cards for children who are fighting life-threatening illnesses. If you enjoy making cards and would like to donate your cards or time, please take a look at these different organizations to find out more. Here you can choose which children you want to send cards to. You send cards directly to the child. DO NOT send cards to Hugs and Hope. Hugs and Hope has volunteers make and send cards directly to the children they feature. They don’t personally take any card donations.
This organization is not just for children.
Another organization where you can choose who want to send cards to. DO NOT send cards to Make A Child Smile, simply visit their website, choose a child you wish to write to (or multiple children) and start sending your happy mail directly to that child!
